As a result of a tragic accident on Tuesday, January 21, 2003; Chantelle Walkey died at the age of 27 years. Precious daughter of Carol and Jim Walkey of Kanata, Ontario. Beloved sister of Alison Walkey (Tyler Martin). Chantelle will be fondly remembered by her very special friend Richard Bishop of Sault Ste. Marie. Special niece of Ron and Thayne Smith of Halifax, Nova Scotia and niece of Sandra and Lorne Logan of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Dayle and Colleen Romanuik of Kelowna, British Columbia. She will be especially missed by her Pug, Pudley.
Friends celebrated Chantelle’s Life at the Northwood Funeral Home in Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 with Reverend Phil Miller officiating.
Friends and family also celebrated Chantelle’s life at Glen Cairn United Church, Kanata, Ont., on Saturday, February 1, 2003 with Rev. David Sherwin officiating. Memorial donations made to the Women In Crisis or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
