Although Don spent a great deal of time compiling this data he would like to give special credit to now deceased Conservation Officer Carl Monk. Carl prepared a document for the Ministry of Natural Resources and the CO Centennial celebrations in 1992. It was Carl’s hard work that made Don’s job that much easier so we can all remember those that went before us and their never-ending commitment to protect Ontario’s Natural Resources for future generations to enjoy and use. Carl, your work lives on, thank you.
